titles received before June 1st, 2012 that qualify
will be considered for the forthcoming year's list. Please remember titles
must:
ü Be Fiction.
ü Have an author
who lives in North America.
ü Be appropriate
for students from all around the state of Florida in grades 3 to 5 and/or 6 to 8.
ü Have a Copyright Date of 2009 or Later.

Attention Parents:
The
SSYRA program is facilitated through your child's school. In most cases the
school library media specialist administers the program, registers the
school, and organizes voting. Please see your school librarian to ask how
your child can get involved in the SSYRA program.
Registration for 2012-2013 is Coming.
To register, you will need the temporary password which will
be emailed with registration instructions to district Library Media
Supervisors on August 20th for dissemination to school librarians. Private
school Principals will also be emailed. If you do not receive this
forwarded email by close of business on Monday August 27th please contact Katrina Figgett
for instructions. More information will be forthcoming.
